NPL’s Quantum Test and Evaluation programme (QTE) supports industry by addressing the barriers to innovation and accelerating the commercialisation of quantum technologies.

NPL, the UK’s National Metrology Institute, has many measurement capabilities that can support UK industry in the development of new products and services based on quantum technologies. For example, scientists at NPL are developing and testing quantum sensors for various applications.

This e-learning resource provides an introduction to some of NPL’s capabilities, along with links to further information. It is aimed at people working in the quantum industry, as well as a more general audience who might wish to learn more about some of these new technologies, including manufacturers of the components, end-users, students, teachers, and researchers.
