Introduction to Control Tools for Statistical Process Control (SPC)
Classroom-based
Overview
The inspection of products is important to ensure conformity, but also to monitor the stability of the production process. When it is not feasible to inspect each individual piece, then, with a representative sample of data, it is possible to use statistical techniques to monitor the process so that adjustments can be made where necessary.
In this 2-day classroom-based training course methods for statistical process control will be explored. This course introduces the principles behind process control and types of charts used to track this information over time. The course also touches on how to analyse data and draw conclusions based on the recorded results.
This course is suitable for those looking to undertake statistical process control, including:
Technicians, engineers and other technical staff
Those who work in quality, inspection and control
Apprentices and graduates
This course is available via NPL Training. For delivery dates and prices, please contact us.
