This is the first online open unit from NPL’s ‘Measurement Explained’ series. This unit introduces metrology, the science of measurement, along with some basic metrology concepts. It covers topics such as accuracy, precision, calibration, and traceability. It also outlines the International System of Units and the realisation of the SI base units.

 

This is the ideal precursor to our more extensive, certified, Introduction to Metrology e-Learning course.
