NPL Training have recently added three new classroom-based training courses to our ever-expanding training course catalogue. In February and March 2026, NPL Training are delivering three expert-led practical classroom courses designed to enhance skills in calibration (with a dimensional focus), measurement system analysis (MSA) and statistical process control (SPC).
Introduction to Calibration (Dimensional focus) – 6 February 2026
This one-day classroom-based training course will introduce the concept of calibration and explore the role of calibration in maintaining metrological traceability. In addition, learners will gain hands-on experience of calibration through dimensional measurement-focused calibration tasks.
Introduction to Control Tools for Measurement System Analysis (MSA) – 18-19 February 2026
In this two-day classroom-based training course MSA principles and basic tools will be introduced, including consistency studies and gauge repeatability and reproducibility (ANOVA).
Introduction to Control Tools for Statistical Process Control (SPC) – 3-4 March 2026
This two-day classroom-based training course introduces the principles behind process control and types of charts used to track this information over time. The course also touches on how to analyse data and draw conclusions based on the recorded results.
